Casa Grau sits in the heart of Xàbia’s historic centre, a cosy restaurant serving traditional yet modern cuisine made with seasonal produce – gourmet quality at an affordable price. Chef-owner Quique García has created a menu with something for everyone, from paella and rice dishes to fresh fish and flavourful meats.
A self‑taught chef, Quique always dreamed of opening a restaurant in his hometown. When a former storeroom of a century‑old knitting shop became available, he transformed it into Casa Grau, inspired by the charm of 19th‑century Parisian bistros. His goal was simple: to serve traditional food, beautifully prepared, in a welcoming setting.
Quique credits his mother for inspiring his passion for cooking. From her, he learned that the heart of great cuisine lies in tradition – and that the simplest dishes are often the most delicious.
PAELLA
Casa Grau offers tasty traditional paellas and rices, which are also available to take away, as well as barbecue dishes from their charcoal oven.
Reservation is essential, especially during the busier summer months and if you want to dine ‘al-fresco’ under the white lights that have been stretched across the street which add something special to the ambience.
