The construction work of the future municipal swimming pool continues to progress little by little and this week the construction company Contratas Vilor installed a jib crane ready for the heavy lifting that will be required over the next few months.

A large hole can already be seen on the plot, which will house the foundations and installations of the municipal swimming pool, a long-awaited infrastructure that has finally been given the green light after years of delay.

In addition to the swimming pool, the projects on the parks of Plaza de Xàtiva in Freginal and Plaza Reina Sofía square in Thiviers are also progressing, although to the surprise of some residents who have been disappointed that the entire perimeter of trees had been removed. However this is what has been planned as the area will be subjected to a radical and profound change which forces their removal.

There is still no news about the incomplete auditorium project which has been on hold for more than a year and the industrial estate which is without a contractor to create it, although, with regards to the latter, mayor José Chulvi hinted that there could be some progress in the next few months, without specifying more.
