The Club Atletismo Llebeig de Xàbia has been making final preparations for next weekend’s Granadella Trail, a tough running competition that returns with all the necessary health protocols that are required to be guaranteed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year there is a new addition to the event – a competition for the younger members of the community.

As reported by the club, there are still places available in this junior heat in the following categories: prebenjamín, benjamín, alevín, infantil and cadete. The distances range from 150 metres for the very little ones to 2,500 metres for the cadete level. Registrations for the Granadella Mini Trail can be made on the mychip website here. There will be T-shirts for all participants as well as trophies for the top finishers.

Registrations to participate in the senior event, which will take place on Sunday 9th May, closed shortly after the application period opened, such is the popularity of the event in which runners will once again be able to experience the sensation of a unique race after a different year.
