MAYOR SIGNS OVER PLOTS FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT

The regional government will build 64 officially protected housing in the municipality.

Xàbia mayor Rosa Cardona and the councillor responsible for Housing and Heritage, Enrique Escrivá (PP), have formalized the transfer of three plots to the Valencian Housing and Land Entity (EVha) for the construction of officially protected affordable housing in the municipality.

The formalization has been carried out at the EVha headquarters in Valencia in the presence of the general director of this organization, which reports to the Second Vice Presidency and Department of Social Services, Equality and Housing, Ernesto Fernández.

After the event, the mayor stated that “one more step” has been taken to ensure that there is public housing in Xàbia and thus be able to meet “the demands that residents send us every day.”

The three plots transferred to the Generalitat Valenciana are located in an area close to CEIP Trenc d’Alba where they will be able to build 64 officially protected homes as part of the regional government’s commitment to provide affordable housing in Xàbia and throughout the Comunidad Valenciana.
