A second successive draw adds a valuable point to the battle of survival – but games are running out.
CD Jávea battled out a 0-0 draw at L’Olleria CF, a valuable point in the battle for survival in the elite Lliga Comunitat. The rojiblancos gave a good account of themselves but were unable to find the confidence in front of goal.
The draw leaves CD Jávea still bottom of the pile and five points adrift of safety but gaining a point on Santa Pola CF who lost 2-0 at Tavernes. Next weekend’s opponents have lifted themselves out of the bottom three with a fine 3-1 home win over CD Eldense “B” whilst CF La Nucía “B” drop into the bottom three after a 0-3 home defeat to second place Crevillente Deportivo. Meanwhile, CF Benidorm maintain a 14 point lead at the top of the table after a 1-0 home win over Hércules CF “B” and are assured of at least a play-off spot.
