MATCH REPORT | FB REDOVAN CF 3-2 CD JÁVEA

CD JÁVEA almost pulled off the comeback of the season after coming back from 3-0 down to score two goals in the final minutes of the game but just couldn’t find the magical final strike that would have forced a share of the spoils.

FB Redovan went ahead after just 4 minutes through José Antonio Vela and the hosts doubled their advantage just three minutes later through Rubén Camarasa – and it wasn’t yet midday. The home side made it three on 82 minutes through substitute Thales Henrique Fidelis. However, the ‘rojiblancos’ refused to give up and scored twice in the final minutes of the game through substitutes Mario Feliu and Guille Castro. But they couldn’t find that third goal to force a share of the spoils before the referee brought the game to a close.

The defeat leaves CD Jávea in the bottom three, on level points with CD Thader who claimed their first victory of the season, a shock 2-0 home victory over CD Dénia. Next week, the ‘rojiblancos’ host bottom L’Olleria CF who suffered a narrow home defeat to league leaders CD Eldense “B”, leading the game twice before the reserve side scored twice in five minutes to maintain their two point lead at the top of the table.
