First Look: TETMA deploys new rubbish collection trucks

A total of 18 new vehicles will be deployed under the terms of the new contract.

The new rubbish collection and street cleaning contract has come into force and the contracted company TETMA has started to deploy its new fleet of vehicles to its headquarters located in Avenida del Pla.

The new vehicles will start operating over the next few days, replacing the old ones that were operated by the previous contract. In total, TETMA will be using the following fleet of vehicles:

  • 6 x 25 sqm side-loading vehicles
  • 1 x 17 sqm load vehicle
  • 1 x satellite side-loading vehicle
  • 1 x container washing vehicle
  • 3 x hook trucks
  • 3 x open-box and crane trucks
  • 3 x flatbed trucks
