Valencian celiac association organises activity day in Granadella

The Celiacs Association of the Comunidad Valenciana (ACECOVA) have got together with Restaurante Sur in Cala Granadella to organise a day of activities for its members this Saturday 21st May, to celebrate the month of people with gluten intolerance and promotye awareness, training and the enjoyment of a family day.

The programme for the day includes a talk at Restaurante Sur by the ACECOVA nutritionist Marí Ángeles and the renowned pediatrician Dr. Luis Santos (Marina Salud) during which attendees will be informed about celiac disease.

In addition, to include the youngest members, there will be an environmental awareness session in which rubbish such as plastic waste will be collected from the area of the Cala Granadella, an activity that has the collaboration of Xàbia Council.

There will also be a lunch offered by APCEL (Best Gluten-Free Workshops in the Comunidad Valenciana) and Restaurante Sur, where sweet and savoury will be offered to all those who have registered, as well as a guided walk through the Parque Forestal de la Granadella with La Terreta Sport and Adventure.

Finally, all attendees can stay for a meal with a special 100% GLUTEN FREE menu at Restaurante Sur. Prior registration and reservation is required.
