Colomer explained that during this first period, total of 66,460 users have registered and that Turisme has already distributed 11,500 vouchers, a figure that he said has increased every week with new applications. He highlighted that the prior appointment progress for this latest edition of the initiative has made it possible to better manage demand without unnecessary delays, which has give a more positive and dynamic start to the programme, for which some 15 million euros has been allocated.

Successful applicants to participate in the Bono Viaje can choose between a short stay with a minimum of two nights to benefit from a 50% discount up to a maximum of 400 euros, or a longer stay with a minimum of five consecutive nights to benefit from a 60% discount up to a maximum of 600 euros.

Colomer added that, whilst it must be appreciated that during the first two months of the programme, the evolution of the health situation in the Valencian region continues to be uncertain, everything is indicating that things will improve from spring.
