In the heart of the old town of Xàbia, La Sucreria de la Plaça has become a lively, much loved bar restaurant where flavour takes centre stage. Its home-cooked fusion menu combines Spanish tapas favourites with influences from across the Mediterranean and beyond, creating dishes that are both comforting and full of character.
It is particularly renowned for its in house smoked specialities, including tender pulled pork and BBQ ribs, served with delicious sides such as rosemary chips and homemade coleslaw. Their popular Smokey Sunday specials offer the perfect opportunity to sample the very best of the menu.
Outside, the terrace is a front row seat to the rhythm of town life, perfect for long lunches or relaxed evening drinks as the square hums around you. Inside, the cosy dining room offers a warm retreat during the cooler months. A carefully chosen selection of wines and beers keeps glasses happily topped up, while regular live music adds an extra spark to the atmosphere.
The kitchen is open all day from Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 to 23:00, and from 12:00 to 16:00 on Sundays, making it even easier to drop in whenever the mood strikes.
