Xàbia will once again be filled with musicians from all over the world this summer, willing to perfect their technique with renowned professionals. After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, Música a l’Estiu returns to offer its international course, directed by the renowned oboists Thomas Indermühle and Pilar Fontalba.

A seven-day intensive course offers the chance for wind instrument students ti work with and receive advice from great European soloists such as Vicens Prats (flute), Thomas Indermühle (oboe), Pierre Martens (bassoon), José Luis Estellés (clarinet) and Will Sanders (horn). They will also have two accompanying pianists, Amedeo Salvato and Agnese Eglina.

The course will run from July 25th to 31st at the facilities of Xàbia’s Professional Music Conservatoire, located just off the Plaza de la Constitución, and as usual it will be reflected in the cultural offer of Xàbia with a season of chamber music concerts open to the public in which teachers and students perform.

Registration is now open LINK HERE and any questions about the course can be directed to the email musicaalestiu@gmail.com.
