Conference on New Developments in Spanish Immigration Law
The talk will address the changes that will come into force on May 20th 2025.
Xàbia Council, through its Department of Social Services and in collaboration with the local headquarters of the Cruz Roja, has organised an informative conference on the new developments in the Spanish Immigration Law. The event will take place next Wednesday 12th March at 7.00pm in the Multipurpose Room of the council complex at Portal del Clot and the talk will be given in Spanish.
The conference will be given by Raül Bover, a volunteer lawyer for the Cruz Roja, who will explain in detail the legislative changes that will come into force as of May 20th 2025. During the session, the new modalities and procedures for requesting authorization for legal residence in Spain will be addressed as well as the transitional measures and deadlines that must be taken into account.
In addition, specific information will be provided on special cases in which it may be advisable to advance procedures or take preventive measures. At the end of the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on their particular situation.
