Xàbia opens the deadline for the self-employed and SMEs to request post-COVID aid “Paréntesis II”

Interested parties have until Tuesday 24th August to apply for financial support

The deadline for requesting post-COVID aid through the PARÉNTESIS II initiative has opened today Tuesday 10th August, a support package aimed at the self-employed and SMEs which forms part of the RESIST II plan promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana in collaboration with town councils across the Valencian region, to which Xàbia has put aside some 500,000 euros.

The direct aid which will be made available to successful applicants is 2,000 euros plus a further 200 euros for each employee with social security affiliation on December 31st 2020.

Those sectors which are eligible for this assistance include: graphic arts and associated activities, jewellers, drinks and tobacco wholesalers, cake shops, sweet shops, wine and drink retailers, retailers of lingerie and corsetry, haberdashery, stationery shops, bookshops, retailers of footwear, leather and imitation articles as well as belts, purses and bags, watchmakers, costume jewellers, press, photographic services, rental of miscellaneous consumer goods, and launderettes.
