Xàbia Council receives 60 applications for assistance in Paréntesis II initiative

An amount of 460,000 euros has been put aside by the local government for this aid package.

Xàbia Council has reported that it has received 60 applications for financial assistance from the PARÉNTESIS II programme, which is aimed at the self-employed and SMEs and falls within the PLAN RESISTIR II initiative promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana in collaboration with the Diputación de Alicante and municipalities in the Valencian region.

The local council has allocated some 460,000 euros for the line of aid, which provides 2,000 euros per applicant plus another 200 euros per employee affiliated with social security as of December 31st 2020 up to a maximum of 4,000 euros. However, any excess balance may be distributed proportionally among the beneficiaries based on justified expenses.

The sectors benefiting by this latest line of aid include: graphic arts, jewelers, retail and wholesale of beverages, tobacconists, pastry shops, corsetry, stationery and bookstores, specialty clothing stores, footwear, leather goods, watchmakers, costume jewelers, newsagents, photographic services, rentals and launderettes.
