Xàbia Council organizes two children’s multi-sports campuses for the Easter holidays

The municipal offer complements the one that several sports clubs are also organising.

The Department of Sports in Xàbia has organised two multi-sport camps to offer the opportunity for boys and girls in the municipality to enjoy sports and leisure with peers of their age over the forthcoming Easter holidays.

The councillor responsible for Sports, Alberto Tur, presented the details of the camps which will be organised by the town hall from Tuesday 11th April to Friday 14th April during the mornings from 9.00am to 1.30pm.

For the little ones born between 2017 and 2019, a psychomotor campus has been organised to help them move and develop their motor skills, emotionally and socially through imagination, creativity and expression.

For the age group 6 to 14 years old, a multi-sports campus “ACTIVATE” is on offer with groups organised by age to experience different sports modalities such as padel tennis, badminton, table tennis and a number of other multisports as well as excursions.

Both camps will be based at the Palau d’Esports Municipal Miguel Buigues in the port and the price will be 35 euros. Registrations can be made from today (Monday March 20th) through the SPORTIA website here.

The councillor added that, in addition to the municipal camps, several local sports club have also put together technical workshops for the Easter holidays, including CD Jávea, Penya La Marina, Club de Gimnasia Rítmica Xàbia, CB Joventut Xàbia, CD Montgó and the Academia de Tenis Ferrer.
