TWO NEW EXHIBITIONS OPEN IN XÀBIA’S EXHIBITION HALLS

Paloma Martos presents her work “Geometría de la Soledad” this Friday.

This week’s cultural agenda in Xàbia is marked by the change of exhibitions in the municipal galleries.

Ramón de Cardenas “Totum Revolutum”

Friday 19th January to Saturday 17th February · Centre d’Arts Lambert, Carrer Major

Ramón de Cardenas is from Dénia and directs the industrial design studio Cardeoli. He specializes in the design and editing of furniture for both private and public use. In the Marina Alta he has participated in various group exhibitions ‘Esculturas Frente al Mar’ (2023 and 2022) in the Marina de Dénia as well as the III Rafael Canogar International Contest in La Roda (Albacete) in which he was a finalist with his work “El Abrazo Invisible”. The inauguration will be on Friday 19th January at 7.30pm.

Marissa Oosterlee

Friday 19th January to Sunday 31st March · Casa del Cable, Duanes del Mar

Oosterlee is recognized for her hyper-realistic figurative pieces that captivate the viewer not only with her technical details, but also with the narratives she brings to life. The inauguration will be on Friday 19th January at 8.00pm.

Book Presentation: Paloma Martos

Friday 19th January, 7.00pm – Biblioteca Duanes de la Mar

On Friday at 7 p.m., the Duanes Library hosts the presentation of Paloma Martos’ book “Geometry of Solitude.” Martos was a teacher at IES la Mar de Xàbia. Her book“Geometría de la Soledad” is a fragmented story, like a puzzle, which is built through the author’s memory and reflections.

Also on Friday at 5.30pm, the historic centre library will be hosting the first story-telling session of the season with “Juglareando Caminos”.
