The young singers of PETIT ARS will be offering a special performance this Friday 3rd June at 7.00pm in the assembly hall of the Xàbia Professional Music Conservatory, located just off Plaza de la Constitución.

The children’s choir will be performing “Bienvenidos al Universo del Petit Ars“, the title of the group’s end-of-year concert in which a set of pieces centred around a story will be offered, narrated through their characters and the lyrics of the songs themselves. It will be a journey across the sea which will end with a short visit to populars songs from other cultures.

It will be a concert for everyone to enjoy, young and old, which will demonstrate how music can be a vehicle for transmitting certain values to boys and girls, including solidarity, teamwork, respect and commitment. Therefore, the concert opens the doors to all those who want to see the work being done by PETIT ARS: “Benvinguts seguiru, amics!” – “Welcome friends!”

The project developed by the renowned choral group ARS NOVA has been aimed at children aged between 4 and 11 years and has been proposed as a method of learning musical language and vocal technique with the ultimate aim of showing everything essential to be part of a group, more particularly a choir. Thus, through playful and innovative methods, it aims to be a source of growth for children.

Pre-registration for the 2022-2023 academic year will open next week, which can be done by sending an email to petitars.xabia@gmail.com with the child’s name and year of birth, as well as contact information.

For many years, you’ve told us how much you love what we’re doing and some of you have even asked for ways to say thanks. For us, there really is nothing easier to show someone how much you appreciate their efforts than buying them a beer (or a wine; or even a coffee) – it’s so simple.
