The contest was held at the Gran Teatro de Xàtiva last weekend and brought together schools from the three provinces of the Comunidad Valenciana and Albacete.

It was in the hip hop modality that the xabiero group, directed by teacher Carmen Villanueva, triumphed. With a spectacular choreography entitled “The Jockers”, the jury awarded them the best score. It was a great joy for Chloe Bunn, Kamyla Damiano, Sofia Sánchez, Tania Ferrer, Yelitza Aranzazu, Celia Devesa, Karen Tipan, Zuzanna Jasinska, Marisol Ponce, Estela Gualda and Eva Gil. These girls have received their award and have also qualified for the national.

But teacher Carmen Villanueva did the double, and she also got a meritorious second place in the contemporary dance modality. It was a performance entitled “Survivors” by Sofia Clark, Jill van Harmelen, Chloe Bunn, Kamyla Damiano, Sofia Sánchez, Tania Ferrer, Yelitza Aranzazu, Celia Devesa, Karen Tipan and Zuzanna Jasinska.
