THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN XÀBIA IN 2023 (according to TripAdvisor)
As a bit of fun, we’ve produced a list from TripAdvisor.es to find those venues which attract the highest “excellent” reviews.
TripAdvisor is a well-known online travel information website that, amongst other features, provides the opportunity for people to leave reviews about hotels and restaurants they have visited. For more than two decades, it has been one of the first stops for those seeking opinions on everything from bars and restaurants to hotel and places to visit.
As a bit of fun at the end of the year, we looked the list of hospitality venues on tripadvisor.es to determine which were the most popular in each of the three nuclei of Xàbia as well as those in outlying areas. To build our list, we looked at the number of “excellent” reviews only – the top tier of a five tier rating between “excellent” and “poor” – for those venues which had attracted 100 reviews or more, and determined a percentage score for that venue. For example, Woody’s Pretty Health Kitchen had 144 reviews of which 135 rated the venue as “excellent”, that is, 93.75%, quite impressive.
This means that our lists differ from the official list given on the website and the number in (brackets) is the actual position in that list according to TripAdvisor’s algorithm which works on Quality (high review scores), Recency (recent and constant reviews) and Quantity (addressing “fast risers” based on a few glowing reviews).
