Officers from the Policía Local de Xàbia have closed Acqua and Bambula this afternoon, two of the seven premises which have been forced to close by the authorities due to lack of proper licences after an investigation by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.

Two officers arrived and ordered that no more customers could enter these two premises, whilst waiting for those who were enjoying drinks to finish them – about 13 – before the premises were closed.

The other premises owned by JaveaCompany – Achill – will be told to close on Friday 20th May. Last week both SALT and Botánico were ordered to cease activity whilst the other two companies – Atalaya and Baltasar – remained closed after receiving the municipal decree at the end of March.
