Club Náutico de Jávea is opening its doors to the public of Xàbia and the entire region of the Marina Alta this Sunday to showcase the different sports that can be enjoyed in the club’s facilities and in the wide bay.

The open day is part of an initiative by the Federación de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana, the regional sailing federation, in collaboration of the sailing schools at the many yachts clubs across the Comunidad Valenciana and aims to promote sea sports.

In the case of Club Náutico de Jávea, visitors will be able to learn about disciplines such as rowing, sailing, windsurfing as well as paddle surfing and kayaking. The activities, which are all free, will begin at 10.00am and end at 1.30pm.

Interested parties should arrive at the new sports classroom building at the yacht club, which is located next to the fishing wharf, where they will need to formally registered to attend. And then they will be able to learn about all the different sports disciplines from monitors at staff at the Sailing School.

The sports director of the Club Náutico Jávea, Javier Momparler, invited everyone to come to the yacht club to learn about rowing, windsurfing, sailing and paddle surfing. “These conferences allow us to spread the important work carried out by the sailing club in sports matters” he said..
