CD Jávea return to the southern group of the Lliga Comunitat for 2025/26 season
The FFCV has confirmed the composition of the two groups which form the elite level in regional football in the Comunidad Valenciana.
The Federació de Fútbol Comunitat Valenciana (FFCV) has confirmed the composition of the two groups which form the Lliga Comunitat, the elite level of the regional football which provides a route into the national football pyramid in Spain, and CD Jávea will be returning to Group Sud, the southern group which they last competed in during the 2023/24 campaign, the inaugural season for this new top level after restructuring of semi-professional football in the region; the rojiblancos finished bottom.
The 2025/26 season will begin on the weekend of September 13th/14th. CD Jávea will be facing several familiar names, including fellow Marina Alta side CF UD Calpe and Group 4 runners-up and play-off winners Mutxamel CF as well as playing two new sides, SC Torrevieja CF and Novelda Unión CF.


With respect to the other Marina Alta sides, CD Dénia, relegated from the Lliga Comunitat at the end of the last season, will be playing in Group 3 of the Primera FFCV alongside Pego CF, whilst newly promoted FB Teulada-Moraira will be playing in Group 4.
CF Benitatxell, champions of Group 12 of the Tercera FFCV, will be playing in the Segona Level this coming season, although in which group has yet to be confirmed by the FFCV as well as the composition of the lower two tiers which include Gorgos CF, CF Orba, UD Ondarense, CEF El Verger, CD Pedreguer and CF Beniarbeig.
