The Arts Society Marina Alta has announced details of its 2023 Autumn season of professional arts lectures which will be hosted by the Parador de Jávea and Salones Canor in Teulada.
The lectures are:

includes a feature presentation of Rijksmuseum Vermeer Exhibit narrated by Stephen Fry

CHARLES DICKENS: THE MAN AND HIS LIFE THROUGH HIS CHARACTERS

THE GREAT VELASQUEZ AT THE COURT OF MADRID
Lecturer: Jacqueline Cockburn
The same lecture will be presented at Salones Canor at 11.00am and then at Parador de Jávea at 7.30pm. The lectures are free for members whilst there is a charge of 15 euros for visitors in the hope that they will consider the Arts Society.
The Arts Society Marina Alta is part of a global network of 385 societies based in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand with a membership of over 100,000. Its objective is to promote the enjoyment, knowledge and awareness of the arts internationally and to stimulate interest in the cultural heritage of Spain through lectures, e-newsletter and trips.
