Alicante provides almost 9,000 euros to fund Municipal Padel School

The school is one of eight such municipal training groups available this year.

Alicante Provincial Council has granted a subsidy of 8,952 euros for the municipal padel school that is organised by the Department of Sports in Xàbia. The funding forms part of the plan of financial aid to town councils, LTEBMS, and municipal sports groups for the operation of the Municipal Sports Schools for 2021.

The Municipal Padel School is one of eight options available for an introduction to sports that is directly offered by the Council which also includes badminton, table tennis, mountain biking, swimming and Supera’t, the newly implemented initiative aimed at people with functional diversity. The Council invests 24,952 euros in the Padel School of which the Provincial Council will reimburse some 36%.

Registration to attend these municipal sports schools is now open and applications can be made through the website sporttia.com by September 10th.  The price is 70 euros for the whole season, which includes compulsory insurance, weekly training, a T-shirt and participation in local competitions.
