ADULT EDUCATION CENTRE HOLDS WELCOME PARTY FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR

The students, teachers and invited guests were able to enjoy paella and tapas snacks

Around 200 people attended a welcome party for the new school year at the Xàbia Adult Education Centre (EPA) on Saturday afternoon, students who have registered with EPA since mid-October to improve their training or improve their level of language learning.

The lunch was attended by mayoress Rosa Cardona, councillor Mavi Pérez (Education) and councillor Juanjo García (Services) who joined in the relaxing afternoon when all the attendees were able to come together with their fellow classmates and teachers.

The afternoon was organised by the EPA Student Association and the centre’s management and consisted of a paella along with various accompanying tapas snacks, the aim of the activity being the strengthening of ties between teachers and students away from the classrooms.

And it is one of a whole series of activities and excursions that are organised by the Association throughout the school year in order to help improve those ties.

Enrollment in the different courses offered by EPA is open all year.
