Xàbia Council has urged residents and visitors to act responsibly and reminded them that diving into the sea in unauthorised areas is strictly prohibited. These activities are extremely dangerous, as the areas often have unpredictable conditions, strong currents, and hidden obstacles that can lead to serious – or even fatal -accidents.

The council has also reported that some warning signs, installed to highlight the ban and the dangers of jumping, have been deliberately removed. It strongly requests that these signs are left in place, as they play an important role in keeping people safe.

For everyone’s safety, the council requests people to avoid diving in unauthorised areas and to respect the rules. Protecting life and preventing accidents must always come first.
