Xàbia celebrates Children’s Day 2025 with games, workshops, and family fun
The Ayuntamiento de Xàbia and the Consell de la Infància organize a morning full of free activities, including sports, storytelling, and a Police Canine Unit show.
The Ayuntamiento de Xàbia, through the Consell de la Infància and with the collaboration of various local organizations, will celebrate Children’s Day 2025 on Saturday 15th November in the Plaza de la Constitución. The event will run from 10.00am to 1.30pm, offering a lively programme of free activities for children and families.
The morning will feature a sports fair and a variety of skill and agility games designed for all ages. There will also be interactive activities organized by the Consell de la Infància, Tetma, Cruz Roja, Policía Local, and Protección Civil.
One of the highlights will be the Canine Unit demonstration by the Policía Local, starring Kosmo and Khalan, two dogs that will showcase their impressive abilities and teamwork.
The program also includes a badge-making workshop, giant zipline, climbing wall, and traditional games hosted by Xàbia Esports, along with face painting, music, and animation to keep the festive atmosphere alive throughout the morning.
As part of the celebration, there will be a storytelling session titled “Mila, Milo i Milu, els guardians dels drets de la infància” — a tale dedicated to defending and promoting children’s rights. The day will conclude with the reading of a manifesto by the Consell de la Infància, giving voice to the children of the municipality.
Xàbia proudly holds the title of Ciudad Amiga de la Infancia, a UNICEF distinction that recognizes towns actively committed to child participation and the promotion of children’s rights.
