Xàbia Brings Family-Friendly Innovation to FITUR

Xàbia will once again be taking part in the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, with a clear commitment to promoting high-quality family tourism. The focus is on shared experiences, respect for the natural environment, and innovation as a way of bringing the destination closer to visitors of all ages.

The local council will use this major international showcase to highlight the town as an ideal year-round family destination, offering activities designed especially for children while also protecting the landscape, heritage and Mediterranean character that define Xàbia.

One of the main new features to be unveiled at FITUR is Xàbia’s new Virtual Tourist Lookout, an innovative tool that allows anyone, anywhere in the world, to explore the town in an immersive way. Via a link or QR code, users can visit Xàbia’s most iconic spots and even step inside distinctive buildings and spaces, helping families discover the destination before they start planning their trip. The official presentation of this new tourism resource will take place on Wednesday 21st January at 10.30am at the Costa Blanca stand at FITUR.

The council will also present its new family tourism promotional video, an audiovisual piece that captures the idea that Xàbia is best enjoyed together. The video shows how families can enjoy holidays full of shared moments, child-friendly activities and meaningful experiences, all with a strong emphasis on caring for the natural surroundings. It reinforces the town’s commitment to a responsible, sustainable tourism model tailored to the needs of families. This promotional spot will be presented on Thursday 22nd January at 6.30pm at the Costa Blanca Cube, located in Madrid’s Callao area.

In addition, mayor Rosa Cardona will attend the presentation of Mar de Jávea later that same Thursday afternoon which will feature a surprise performance by one of the festival’s participating artists.
