Trunk Call to Anyone Who’s Lived in Africa!
The Tusker Africa group connects all those who have previously lived in the dark continent and now reside on the Costa Blanca.
Come and join like-minded people over lunch and crazy golf [optional but there is a prize] on Saturday27th September at Flo Grand Café, Jávea. The event starts at 13.00 with a welcome drink, followed by a tasty meal and a prize for the best African-themed fancy dress outfit [not mandatory, but fun].
The Tusker group was formed in Jávea over 20 years ago by someone who had lived in Kenya and felt sure there must be other ‘Africans’ who’d retired to the Costa Blanca rather than returning to the UK or other cold countries. It has become quite an institution with lunches usually organised twice a year at a different venue along the Costa Blanca. It’s a great way to meet new people with similar experiences and to reminisce about your time in the ‘dark continent’.
