Hotels along the Valencian coast are kicking off September with an average occupancy of 79.5%, up slightly on the same period last year. Coastal campsites are also performing well, with 70% of bungalows and 60% of pitches already booked.
Regional Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Marián Cano, described the results as “very good and very encouraging,” highlighting that “we are surpassing last year’s figures, which shows that our region is a highly appreciated destination for visitors.” She also stressed the strong performance across all accommodation types, noting that “the data confirms the Comunidad Valenciana is a safe, attractive, and reliable choice.”
Cano added that this summer is marked by “dynamism and steady growth in the tourism sector, in line with the excellent results achieved throughout 2025, especially in international tourism.” Looking ahead, she emphasized the priority of consolidating this growth while ensuring quality, sustainability, and a diverse, competitive offering.
