SHOPPING VOUCHERS NOW AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS

The vouchers can be used in participating stores throughout the month of November

The 2023 shopping voucher campaign, organised by the Department of Economic Dynamization in Xàbia – known as BONO CONSUM – has opened today Monday 30th October and residents will be able to apply for one of the 3,150 vouchers worth 150 euros each to be spent in participating businesses in the town.

Councillor Juanlu Cardona explained that the vouchers have a total value of 150 euros of which the applicant must pay 50 euros and the council meets the balance of 100 euros. They can be purchased today and tomorrow from the CREAMA offices located next to the OAC in Avenida Trenc d’Alba between 9.00am and 2.00pm then 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

On Thursday 2nd November, they can be bought from the office of the Tourist Info Xàbia Port in Plaza Adolfo Suárez from 9.00am to 2.00pm and then 4.30pm to 7.30pm. On Friday 3rd December, they will be available from the Civic Punt del Arenal in Avenida de Pla on the corner of Calle St Tropez between 9.00pm and 2.00pm and then 4.30pm to 7.30pm and then from Monday 6th November from the CREAMA offices only between 9.00am and 2.00pm.

Interested parties must have been registered as resident in Xàbia before August 31st 2023 and should be of legal age. They must present their DNI and NIE as proof of identity, a passport will not be accepted. In addition, since the vouchers are subsidized with public funding, those who wish to purchase them must be up-to-date with the fiscal obligations to the town hall.

The voucher must be paid for be credit card and can be used until Thursday 30th November in one or more of the participating businesses for as long as a balance is available on it; if it runs out, the difference must be paid for by the customer.
