LLIGA COMUNITAT FFCV – Southern Group

This weekend’s fixtures were disrupted by adverse weather, forcing the postponement of UD Calpe vs SC Torrevieja and UD Carcaixent vs CE Alberic. Among the matches that went ahead, CFI Alicante edged past CD Thader with a 2–1 home win, while Mutxamel CF impressed with a 3–1 victory over UD Rayo Ibense. CD Eldense B and Novelda UDCF shared the points in a 1–1 draw, maintaining their positions in the top five. Olímpic de Xàtiva secured a clean sheet and three points with a 2–0 win over FB Redován CF. Meanwhile, CD Jávea and CF Benidorm played out a tense 0–0 stalemate, preserving Benidorm’s unbeaten run and top spot. In the final fixture, L’Olleria CF claimed a narrow 1–0 away win against Benigànim CF.

Benidorm lead the table with 11 points from five matches, closely followed by CD Jávea on 10. CD Eldense B, CD Thader, and Novelda UD CF are all tied on 9 points, keeping the top five tightly packed. Mid-table sees CFI Alicante, Olímpic, and Redován on 7 points, while Calpe, Carcaixent, Benigànim, and Rayo Ibense remain in the relegation zone with three points or fewer, some with a game in hand due to postponements.
