The troops of the Moors and Christians made their way up to the historic centre to offer flowers to the patron saint Sant Jaume.
The Moors and Christians took to the streets of the historic centre on Tuesday evening As is tradition, the filaes began their journey from Avenida Príncipe de Asturias, filling the old town with colour, music, and joy. The parade continued through the Placeta del Convent, Carrer Virgen de la Merced and Carrer El Foguerer, watched by residents and visitors who came to witness the event.
The parade culminated on Carrer Ravalet (Sant Jaume), where the flower offering was made at the niche of the patron saint of Sant Jaume. The representatives of the 2025 Moors and Christians fiesta, including flag bearers and captains, placed their bouquets at the feet of the saint’s statue in a symbolic gesture dedicated to maintaining traditions. To close the day, a fireworks display lit up the sky of Xàbia.
