Photo Gallery: Fogueres 2025 – The Offering of Flowers to Sant Joan

One of the most moving and traditional events of the Fogueres de Sant Joan de Xàbia is the flower offering to the saint. Hundreds of people participated in a parade that filled the streets of the historic centre with colour and joy, watched by thousands of residents and visitors.

The procession began in the Thiviers neighborhood, from where the groups set off to the accompaniment of music and applause. The route followed a long route around the historic centre to reach the Plaza de la Iglésia, where, as is tradition, a spectacular floral tapestry was created at the foot of the statue of Sant Joan, a task carried out by the Penya La Patxorra.

The offering was attended by peñas, those quintàs celebrating their special anniversaries, local fiesta associations, the youth committee, the children’s committee, and the new groups, including the youngest members, the future of the fiesta, as well as the members of Quintà 2025 La Desmadra, the protagonists of this year’s festivities.

One of the most anticipated moments was when the queens and female presidents laid their bouquets before the image of the patron saint, accompanied by traditional music and the excitement of the audience.
