OUR OPPONENTS

CF Intercity “B” is the reserve side of CF Intercity, which currently plays in the Primera Federación. The “B” side was formed in 2020, winning group 14 of the Segunda Regional at the first time of asking, chalking up 11 wins in the 12 games that the pandemic-reduced season allowed.
At the end of the 2022-23 season, the side finished 9th in Group 7 of the Primera Regional and was re-allocated to the Segona FFCV in the restructuring of regional football in the Comunidad Valenciana, a drop to the third tier. They responded by finishing runners-up in Group 7 behind CD Betis Florida and won the two-legged play-off against Júpiter CF de Massamagrell (Group 2) 6-2 on aggregate to achieve promotion to the Primera FFCV.
Just three wins in 28 games and a run in which it won just once in 18 games saw CF Intercity ‘B’ relegated in early April; it is currently on an eight-game losing streak going into the match against the league leaders. It’s not been a good season for CF Intercity; its senior team has been relegated from Group 2 of the Primera Federación, finishing bottom of the table.
HEAD 2 HEAD
CD Jávea and CF Intercity “B” met competitively for the first time back in mid-January. A first-half goal from Adrian Gil secured all three points for the rojiblancos.

CD Jávea can boast an average of 2.0 points per home game this season, the joint second-best in the league with Santa Pola CF, whilst CF Intercity ‘B’ have managed an average of just 0.5 points per away game, the joint worst record on the road in the league with fellow relegated side CF Sporting de San Fulgencio. On paper at least, this should be a safe three points for the rojiblancos.
