Heart of Javea: new Facebook group shines a light on local charity and community spirit

The Original Charity Shop and Bookshop (OCSB) has launched a new Facebook group called “Heart of Javea”, designed to bring together the many charitable and community-minded activities that make the town so special.

The group was created after OCSB noticed that existing Javea Facebook pages had become so crowded with a mix of topics that messages from local charities were often lost in the noise. To give these initiatives a clearer voice, they decided to establish a dedicated online space for all things charitable, positive, and community-focused.

Heart of Javea aims to be a vibrant hub for good news stories, charity shop offers and bargains, local heroes, community activities, fundraising events, and opportunities to get involved.
