One of the distinctive characteristics of Pedro Almodóvar’s filmography, especially during the 1980s, was the use of music, and more specifically, the songs that shaped the audiovisual universe of the La Mancha filmmaker.

SONAFILM seeks to reclaim Almodóvar on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, that musical aesthetic that defined one of the most critically acclaimed and internationally acclaimed Spanish filmographies, through the performances of Canarian singer Esther Ovejero and musical director David Quevedo, alongside the Bad Education Band.
