Xàbia continues to shine as a key destination on Spain’s gastronomic map thanks to the strength of its haute cuisine restaurants. This week’s Michelin 2026 Gala, held at the Sohrlin venue in Málaga, once again confirmed the prominent role of the Marina Alta in the country’s culinary landscape. The region, celebrated nationwide for its diversity and its strong commitment to local produce, renewed all of its stars and strengthened its position as a leading centre of high cuisine within the Valencian Community.

As in previous years, the spotlight fell on Quique Dacosta Restaurante (Dénia), which retains its three Michelin Stars and remains the flagship culinary ambassador for the province of Alicante.

And Xàbia maintains its own prestigious set of three Michelin Stars too, shared between two of its acclaimed restaurants. Bon Amb Restaurante once again secures its two Michelin Stars, reinforcing the creative Mediterranean vision led by chef Alberto Ferruz, whose cuisine remains deeply rooted in local territory and produce. Meanwhile, Tula Restaurante, run by Borja Susilla and Clara Puig, firmly retains its Michelin Star, confirming its place as one of the most distinctive and character-driven gastronomic landmarks in the region.

In the category of one-star establishments, the Marina Alta continues to present a solid and diverse line-up. Notable among them are Peix & Brases (Dénia), Tula (Xàbia), Casa Pepa (Ondara), Casa Bernardi (Benissa), along with Calp’s trio of starred restaurants: Audrey’s by Rafa Soler, Beat, and Orobianco.

Together, these distinctions underscore both the excellence of Xàbia’s culinary scene and the Marina Alta’s standing as one of Spain’s most vibrant territories for innovative, locally grounded high cuisine.
