‘Bandtrónica’ will fuse traditional music with electronica in special summer concert

This Saturday 9th August at 10.30pm, Xàbia’s Plaza del Portal del Clot will host a truly unique musical event: “Bandtrónica” – a bold concert blending the power of band music with the energy and rhythm of electronic beats.

The Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia, under the baton of maestro Gonzalo de la Guía, is stepping into new territory with this innovative show, featuring iconic tracks from the legendary Ruta del Bakalao. Joining them is renowned DJ and composer Pere Vicalet, a leading figure in merging classical and electronic styles.

But “Bandtrónica” is more than just a concert – it’s a multisensory experience. A journey through the musical culture of the 80s and 90s, reimagined with brass, percussion, and modern electronic sounds. It’s a vibrant tribute to an era that defined a generation, now brought back to life in symphonic form for new audiences to discover.

With this project, the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia steps out of its comfort zone, offering an exciting and diverse performance designed to connect with all ages through the universal language of music.
