Avenida Lepanto closed to traffic for Moors & Christians presentation ceremony and concert
The road will also be closed for the gala parades which conclude the fiesta as well as the Living Chess event at the end of the month.
Due to the presentation ceremony and fiesta music concert at the start of the celebrations of the Moros i Cristians de Xàbia, Avenida Lepanto will be closed to traffic between CEIP Port de Xàbia and Avenida dels Furs from Friday 11th July until Monday 14th July.
As a consequence, the bus stops and taxi rank will be temporarily re-located to the junction of Avenida Augusta and Avenida dels Furs between the fountain roundabout and the bridge over the river.
In addition, the road will also be closed over the weekend of July 19th and 20th for the gala parades which conclude the Moors and Christians celebrations and again from Thursday 24th July until Sunday 27th July inclusive for the staging the the 27th edition of the Living Chess.
The Policía Local will be putting out the necessary signs to re-direct traffic and ask for the collaboration of all residents and visitors as well as those driving vehicles during these periods.
