Artisan fair returns to the port zone of Xàbia this September
After a short break, the weekend craft fair will return to the beach promenade on Saturday 13th September.
The Duanes de la Mar neighbourhood offers a winning combination for visitors: a seaside promenade with stunning views of the port and surrounding mountains, cozy terraces, and a small but carefully curated art and craft fair.
The summer fair, organized by the local artisans association AMATA, ran through until August 31 and is now taking a short break for the Virgen de Loreto festivities. From Saturday 13th September onwards, it will return every weekend. Saturdays run from 5.00pm to 11.00pm, and Sundays from 11.00am to 2.00pm, featuring between 10 and 15 artisans each weekend.
Unlike many beach fairs, the Port of Jávea Market is highly selective. Every item is handmade by the artisans themselves, who often use natural or recycled materials and can create custom pieces on request. The fair emphasizes quality, creativity, and individuality.
The fair takes place along the beach promenade at the Duanes de la Mar (search “Jávea Craft Fair” on Google Maps). Updates, including any changes due to weather, are shared on the Amigos de AMATA Instagram and Facebook pages. Photos of the stalls for upcoming weekends can be found at here.
