The Court of Appeal of Alicante has rejected the request for precautionary measures made by JaveaCompany in relation to the closure of Acqua Bar & Steak House which has not been able to open since it was sealed off by order of the local council.

The company that owns three of the seven premises closed by order of the local authorities in response to a demand from the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency brought their cases to the Court of Appeal of Alicante. The closure of La Bambula, Acqua and Achill in May by the local police forced the company to present each closure individually to the appeal court when they were left to the discretion of the magistrate.

Over the summer, JaveaCompany unveiled the documents that authorized the precautionary measures for the re-opening of Achill and La Bambula, but in the case of Acqua, the magistrate’s order was delayed and the venue remained closed during the summer.

Finally, the appeal court judge has rejected the request for precautionary measures made by JaveaCompany against the closure of this premises while he analyzes the substance of the matter. In the case, the judge has imposed costs on the aforementioned company.
