APASA invites Xàbia to its annual Bierfest for a good cause
Xàbia’s dog shelter will host its traditional beer festival on Saturday, October 25th, combining food, fun, and fundraising to support its work caring for abandoned dogs.
The Xàbia animal protection society APASA continues its tireless mission to care for and rehome abandoned dogs and this month, it’s inviting the community to join the cause in the most enjoyable way possible.
On Saturday, October 25th, from 12:00 p.m., APASA will hold its annual ‘Bierfest’ at its shelter on Camí de les Sorts, 27. The event promises a lively mix of good food, drinks, and music, all in support of the shelter’s ongoing work.
Visitors can look forward to a big barbecue, plenty of beer, wine, and soft drinks, plus classic Anglo-style potato salads, homemade cakes, and coffee. For something special, the team will also be serving a traditional smoked trout dish, available by pre-order.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a homemade cake to share, adding to the friendly, community atmosphere. There will also be a raffle with prizes and music throughout the day.
APASA’s Bierfest is not just a fun afternoon, it’s also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the shelter’s work and help support the dogs who rely on their care.
