Turisme Comunitat Valenciana will allocate a total of €4 million in grants for 2026 aimed at improving the market positioning of tourism businesses across the region. The funding forms part of the programme “Boosting the Positioning of Companies and the Marketing of Tourism Products in the Comunidad Valenciana”, officially announced this Friday in the Official Bulletin of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV).

The grants are designed to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of the Valencian tourism sector, supporting individuals and organizations that carry out marketing initiatives for tourism products or services, helping to strengthen the region’s presence in both domestic and international markets.

The Regional Minister for Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Trade, Marián Cano, explained that the goal is to “strengthen tourism activity in the Comunitat Valenciana,” emphasizing that the programme is intended to support local tourism businesses by boosting their visibility at both national and international levels.

Cano noted that companies of all sizes and legal structures registered with Turisme Comunitat Valenciana will be eligible to apply. She also highlighted that the initiative forms part of a broader strategy to promote high value-added tourism services year-round, while advancing national and international promotion and sustainability.

The 2026 call aims to further consolidate the Comunitat Valenciana as a leading tourist destination both within Spain and abroad. As in the previous edition, grants may cover up to 70 percent of eligible costs. The minimum required investment is €6,000, or €3,000 in certain specific cases, while the maximum grant per applicant will be €90,000. The funding will cover costs directly linked to project execution, including obtaining quality and sustainability certifications, producing promotional materials, advertising in media outlets, and participation in national and international fairs and events.

Applications must be submitted electronically between 09:00 on April 15 and 14:00 on April 30th 2026, in accordance with current regulations. Interested applicants can complete the process via the Generalitat’s electronic portal or through the relevant procedure listed in the PROP Guide.

Eligible applicants include tourism businesses registered in the official Tourism Registry of the Comunitat Valenciana, such as accommodation providers, travel agencies, active tourism companies, and food service establishments that comply with current regulations.

The programme is designed to fund a wide range of initiatives that promote and market tourism products, including:

  1. Omnichannel promotion and advertising, both digital and physical, to increase visibility
  2. Commercialization and market launch of experiential tourism products
  3. Obtaining, maintaining or renewing certifications in quality management, environmental standards and accessibility recognized by the Qualitur programme

Funded projects must be carried out between January 1st and December 31st 2026, and the call is open to all businesses that meet the requirements set out in the official resolution.
