Xàbia celebrates 41st Craft Fair with 75 stalls and a full program of cultural activities
A four-day fair brings artisans, local flavours and tradition to life in the historic centre.
The Fira d’Artesania de Xàbia, one of the oldest Easter fairs in the Comunidad Valenciana, will be bringing together 75 craft stalls representing a wide range of crafts, offering visitors a rich showcase of traditional trades such as ceramics, leatherwork, woodcraft, textiles, jewelry and handmade goods. The event further cements its role as a leading platform for high-quality craftsmanship.
The programme will begin on Friday – Viernes Santo – with the traditional hot chocolate gathering for participants in the Via Crucis, followed by the official opening, accompanied by live music and a concert by Xirimitab’s in Plaça de l’Església.
Throughout the weekend, the fair will offer a varied program for all audiences, including street entertainment and roaming performances, children’s workshops, activities for adults, traditional music and dance, and gatherings of local clubs and associations.
The farmer’s market of locally sourced agricultural products will also return, where regional producers will offer goods such as vegetables, honey, cured meats, olive oil, wine and jams, promoting zero-kilometre products and responsible consumption.
The Department of Economic Development in Xàbia and the Xàbia Històrica Business Association highlight that the fair continues to evolve after more than four decades, maintaining its traditional essence while strengthening its appeal as a cultural, tourist and commercial event.
The opening of the Soler Blasco Municipal Museum over the weekend will further enhance the cultural offering, inviting both residents and visitors to enjoy a complete experience in the historic centre.
