If you’re up for a fun-filled afternoon of jolliness, Christmas trivia, letter-hunting, games, drinks and singing, all in aid of raising funds for the Raquel Payà Special Needs School in Dénia, then pop into The Lancashire Bruja in Avenida del Pla in the Arenal and sign up now!
This year’s Elf Run / Pub Crawl takes place on Saturday 6th December from 2.30pm, when teams will officially sign in with Mrs Claus and hand over the €2 per person registration fee. Simply get together up to six people for your team, give it a Christmas-themed name, and then pop along to the bar before Wednesday 3rd December with the team name and the names of your participants.
Last year’s event raised €1,983.10 through bucket collections, the bar tin, and a Christmas cake and bake sale. Elves visited several local spots, including Geographic, The Fish & Chips Bar (who gifted each little elf a lightsabre and a star), Richmond Bar, The Auld Dubliner, Canela, and Pub in the Park, where much-needed nibbles were provided for the hardworking teams. The quiz champions were Baubleliscious Babes, while the Bucket Collection title went to “Almost” Santa Babies.
