Xàbia dance academy to represent Spain in the European Championships in Dijon

During the weekend of May 2nd-4th, the Fórum Evolución Auditorium in Burgos hosted the final of the National Dance Competition, an event that brought together the country’s finest talents in a top-level competition. In this demanding setting, the Endanza Jávea dance academy stood out with outstanding results that secured it a place in the European Championships to be held in October in Dijon, France.

Participation in this national competition required prior automatic passage from which only the best qualified. In Burgos, the technical and artistic level was exceptionally high, and only those groups, duos, and individuals who obtained the highest scores, unanimously approved by the jury and received special congratulations, will be able to represent Spain at the continental competition.

Endanza Jávea, under the artistic direction of the teachers Carmen Villanueva, Ada Arbona and Alba Cardona achieved brilliant rankings in all categories:

Featured Groups

  • “Puro Arte” (fusion dance, category 1, 12-14 years old) obtained the highest score and 1st prize, congratulations from the jury and a place at the European Championships.
  • “Beyond the Mask” (hip hop, category 2, 13-17 years) repeated the feat with an identical result.
  • “Eco Interno” (fusion dance, advanced level, category 3, 15-18 years old) won first prize with the unanimous vote of the jury and qualified for the European Championship.
  • “Flashback” (fusion dance, preparatory category, 9-11 years) also won first prize unanimously and qualified for Europe.
  • “Hip Ricky Hop” (hip hop, preparatory category) won 1st prize.

Award-Winning Duos

  • “Urban Power” (hip hop, María and Kornelia) received the 1st prize unanimously and a ticket to the European Championship.
  • “Dynamite Duo” (Mia and Angela) and “Dual Flow” (Azahara and Aroa) won first prize.
  • “Street Legends” (Estela and Marisol) and “A través de ti” (Tania and Tess) won 2nd place in the A prize.

Individual Results

  • Sarah Cardona (16 years old) achieved the highest score in fusion dance with 1st prize, congratulations from the jury and European classification.
  • Neus Palacios (12 years old, modern jazz dance) won 1st prize unanimously and qualified for the European Championship.
  • Diana Sotnikova (12 years old) and Kornelia Lipka (10 years old), also in modern jazz, won 1st prize.
  • Selena Oraliaga (13 years old, classical dance) was awarded 1st prize.
  • María Madrigal (9 years old, hip hop) received the 2nd prize A.
  • Carmen Jewel (11 years old) and Katia Lolov (13 years old), both in contemporary dance, obtained 2nd Prize B.

The school celebrated these results as a historic milestone: “It’s incredible what our students have achieved.
