Once again the Department of Sports in Xàbia has organised two municipal sports camps so that the children of the municipality can spend the summer in an active and healthy way, complementing the initiatives offered by clubs and sports groups in the town. Both the municipal camps will be hosted in the public facilities and have been organised by age group.

Based at the Palau d’Esports Municipal, the PSICOMOTICITAT A L’ESTIU camp is aimed at children aged between 5 and 7 years old (born between 2017 and 2019) and will feature activities to stimulate social development through imagination, creativity and expression. Thirty places are available.

Based at the Mesquides sports area, the ACTIVA’T A L’ESTIU camp is aimed at those born between 2009 and 2016 and will focus of multisport and racket games, such as paddle tennis, badminton and table tennis. It will be organised into different age groups – Pre-Benjamín, Benjamín, Alevín and Infantil – and there are 45 places available.

Both camps will run from Monday 3rd July to Friday 11th August and structured into three fortnight sessions. Each session costs 70 euros, (a price which includes shirt and insurance) and the registration period will open on Monday 22nd June and can be done through the sporttia app booking platform.

In addition to the two municipal sports camps, there are other opportunities available offered by CD Jávea, Penya La Marina, Washinkai Karate, Naútico Joventut Xàbia, Deportivo Montgó, Judo Dojo Do and Rítmica Xàbia.
