Xàbia celebrates 30 years of the International Festival with special edition from July 3-5

The popular Festival Internacional de Xàbia will be taking place between Thursday 3rd July and Saturday 5th July in Vía Augusta, bringing together residents and visitors in an open, multicultural and family-friendly atmosphere, and this year it will be celebrating three decades of history as an established cultural event.
The festival director, Raúl de Lope, emphasized that the 2025 edition is “very special” not only because of the milestone but also because it marks how the festival has established itself as a “family-friendly event designed for all audiences. Furthermore, it is always held at a fabulous time of year, ideal for getting out of the house and enjoying the surroundings and culture”.
The festival vice-president, Darío Franchi, added his gratitude for the great work of all the individuals, associations, and colleagues who make this event possible each year. “It is thanks to all of them that this festival continues to grow and become a benchmark.”
The councillor responsible for Culture, Mavi Pérez (CPJ) congratulated the organizers and highlighted the multicultural nature of Xàbia: “We are fortunate that so many nationalities live together here and share their culture, music, and traditions with us. This festival is a reflection of that.”
Finally, mayor Rosa Cardona (PP) paid tribute to the festival’s 30-year history by congratulating the entire organizing team. She also announced the publication of a commemorative book that captures the festival’s multicultural essence and encouraged the entire municipality to “attend, participate, and enjoy this event that represents us as an open and diverse community.”
