The Department of Economic Development and CREAMA Xàbia is finalizing details of the next meeting “Wine Digital 2023” which will be taking place this Thursday 23rd February at 7.00pm at the Casa del Vino.

On this occasion, three local producers of honey, wine and oil will come together to talk about their day-to-day and why they decided to bet on these agricultural products in a place like Xàbia. The will explain their beginnings, the knowledge they have gained, and how the use of new technologies in their businesses has played an important role.

Eduardo Fernández, a beekeeper from Granada fell in love with Xàbia and decided to launch all the passion he feels for bees on the slopes of Montgó. For him they are almost “part of the family” and his commitment to the quality of his honey makes his product stand out from the competition.

Claudio Degasperi is a local producer who wants to claim the value of his own and has created a wine that condenses the essences of a land so close to the sea, which gives its flavour a special touch.

And, finally, Juanjo Sapena opted to create a high-quality oil in an area near Xàbia and thus culminate the dream he had as a child when he saw his father happy cultivating the olive trees.

Wine Digital is an event that which forms part of the Beachworking project and is organized in collaboration with La Casa del Vino de Xàbia. It tries to show the experiences of entrepreneurs who, although they belong to the primary sector, are using the NICT for their projects. In previous editions, both women producers and young entrepreneurs who have started a business activity in this sector have been given a voice.

On this occasion, the public is invited to meet Eduardo, Juanjo and Claudio and thus learn from their experiences, successes and failures, as well as being able to ask and receive first-hand advice and even try their products live.

To attend it is necessary to register by email to info@casadelvino.biz or call 966 463 098.
